Evie Leach is a jeweller based in York, North Yorkshire.
Evie decided to follow her creative passion by studying Jewellery and Silversmithing at the Birmingham School of Jewellery where her basic knowledge, learned from her jeweller parents (Moxon and Simm), transformed into traditional skills. She now works from her shared workshop, Pica Studios, in the centre of York when she is not at home with her young family.
Evie’s angular jewellery designs take inspiration from geometry found in nature and architecture. She uses clean lines and angles to create sterling silver pieces, often oxidised to give contrasting black and silver colours, and teamed with uneven cut or rough semi-precious gemstones. More recent work includes silver statement rings with bright stones and gold angled accents.
