Janine Jacques has always been a regular visitor to Fountains Abbey. During one of her last visits she noticed the buttercups were growing exceptionally tall. Buttercups also being one of her favourite wildflowers, Janine felt intrigued in creating this scene in her unique felt landscapes. Combining her favourite wildflower and abbey.
